Our Lady of Lourdes first appeared to Saint Bernadette in 1858, dressed in white with a blue belt, standing on yellow roses. She continued to appear to Bernadette many more times, as well as to many other people. She is often shown all in white, or in blue, and many have felt her presence and been healed by her. Lourdes remains one of the most popular pilgrimage sites for those with a devotion to Mary. Our Lady of Lourdes graces many with inner peace and the promise of eternal life in Christ.
Looking serenely out, this two foot tall statue marble of Our Lady of Lourdes is highly detailed. The details of this lovely statue are brought out by the white finish, and it will fit beautifully in any room or chapel, and would also be lovely in a garden.
