Saint Joseph with Holy Child Statue A

Saint Joseph is the adoptive father of Jesus and the husband of the Virgin Mary. Joseph, a carpenter, was a direct descendant of King David. He accepted Mary's pregnancy after a visit from an angel, and stayed with Her. He fled with his family to Egypt to save Jesus from Herod's slaughter of children. Considered to be a compassionate, loving man with a deeply ingrained sense of familial devotion and responsibility.
